What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
By attending our classes/events you agree to Dancing Fever being able to use any media (images/videos/etc) created from our services/events/classes. However if you would like any specific media on our website of yourself taken down, we will do so straight away.

We do not sell or lease your information to any third party. We do not share your information with marketing companies. Occasionally your information may be passed to or accessed by a third party service provider or subcontractor for the purpose of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf (for example website management or technical maintenance). Please be assured that whenever we use a third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
