★★★★ BIO ★★★★
Emmanuel’s passion for music and dance was evident from an early age; he gained a strong musical foundation by studying piano, acoustic and bass guitars but, most of all, focusing on percussion, which lead to becoming a certified drummer in his teens. Now, based in Bristol, Emmanuel’s influence has been vital in maintaining and growing the local Kizomba/Semba scene. In addition to teaching his weekly classes in Bristol and Cardiff, he offers periodical intensive weekend workshops, often also featuring internationally recognised guest teachers. He has taken teaching by the reigns and developed his methodology to be aligned with that of some of the best teachers across Europe. Having spent time learning in Angola, he remains dedicated to bringing his students a complete, cultural experience of the dance. He has nuggets of knowledge to share and HE WILL help you feel comfortable with your steps & build your confidence to give you that much desired freedom on the dance floor. His love of life, music, dance and people is absolutely contagious and shines through always, whether it be on the dancefloor or in his Workshops.
