About Dancing Fever
Carl & Alex have been dancing for many years.
Originally started teaching Salsa in South Wales, they enjoyed the thrill of watching people learn to dance and see the confidence it gave them in their lives.
They then decide to further their education on all types of partner dancing and teaching styles. So after a long while of searching and contacting dance companies they fortunately had an amazing opportunity to move out to the United States of America, and learn and teach Latin & American Ballroom Dancing with Fred Astaire Dance Studios.
About Carl
Carl – Full name; Carl Hales Davies has performed all his life. Singing and dancing through school, he knew that this is what he wanted to do with his life. Not starting to learn how to dance properly until his late teens, he took every opportunity he could to learn more and make himself a better teacher.
While out in America working with Fred Astaire Dance Studios, he took students to grand balls and big competitions. There Carl competed in a teacher’s competition with a fellow teacher, where they danced with lifts and dips (freestyle).
This type of dancing has always excited Carl, and with allot of hard work he came 2nd in his first competition, which was a great achievement.
Carl is a very bubbly and lively character that brings out the fun aspect in learning dance.
Other than teaching dance, Carl is a vocal entertainer, and with his beautiful wife Alex, they perfom spectacular singing and dancing shows together all over the UK.

About Alex
Alex – Full name; Alexandra Davies started dancing with Carl in her late teens. After finding a natural ability to dance, she wanting to learn more and eventually started teaching.
Luckily getting the opportunity to teach and learn with Fred Astaire Dance Studios in America, Alex had the resources to learn more, and more. This made her love for dancing even stronger.
While out in America she took her students to grand balls and competitions. She also competed in competitions against fellow teachers and by putting allot of hard work and wanting to get things perfect she took the competition by storm and managed to get 1st place in the first competition that she entered. Alex was very fortunate to have worked with an amazing dancer/teacher and she was very proud of her placing.
Alex however is the total opposite to Carl when teaching. While Carl is very bubbly and energetic, and Alex is more refrained and calm teacher. This makes Carl & Alex the perfect combination to teach different types of people. If you don’t like one of thier teaching personalities then you will hopefully like the other.

We have also worked with many local businesses in providing team building exercises, the feedback we have received has always been very positive and many have said how their experience was an enjoyable one and how they had connected with their colleagues in a way they never had before.
