Dancing Fever is run by Carl Hales Davies & his wife Alexandra Davies.
Currently running 9 Salsa classes throughout South and West Wales, stretching from Carmarthen to Briton Ferry.

Our company brings you the joy of dancing in a fun and friendly environment. Mainly teaching Salsa, we are also able to bring you dance lessons in Cha Cha, Rumba, Mambo, Merengue, Swing, FoxTrot, Waltz and Tango

Originally we started teaching Salsa dancing in South Wales, we enjoyed the thrill of watching people learn to dance and see the confidence it gave them in their lives.

We then decide to further our education on all types of partner dancing and teaching styles. So after a long while of searching and contacting dance companies we fortunately had an amazing opportunity to move out to the United States of America, and learn and teach Latin & American Ballroom Dancing with Fred Astaire Dance Studios.

History of Salsa

Salsa was created by Spanish-speaking people from the Caribbean. Salsa dancing mixes African and European dance influences through the music and dance fusions that are the roots of Salsa.

Salsa is normally a partner dance, although there are recognized solo forms, line dancing (suelta), and Rueda de Casino where groups of couples exchange partners in a circle. Salsa can be improvised or performed with a set routine.

Salsa is presents in many of latin american countries as Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Argentina, Bolivia, Panamá, Venezuela, Uruguay, Paraguay,etc. Other non-latin american countries are United States, Spain, Japan, Portugal, France and Italy.
